Heroes and mythology were an important part of Greek and Roman society. The exhibition paints a picture of ancient myth in Roman mosaics and neoclassical, modern and contemporary art from the Musée d’Art Classique de Mougins displayed for the first time.

Works from Cézanne, Picasso, Pinelli, Turchi, Renoir, Rubens and sculptures by Arman, Quinn, and Sosno tell the story of how ancient people saw their world and how artists have interpreted it from the Renaissance to the present day.
