The focus remains on the combination of ancient and modern with the juxtaposition of an ancient statue of Venus, Venus by Yves Klein, Birth of Venus by Andy Warhol; a head of emperor Caracalla and complementary drawing by Henri Matisse; a combination of ancient portraiture with emperors Vitellius and Vespasian by Sir Peter Paul Rubens, and many more novel arrangements in museology. | |
