The flagship event of EUROPALIA ROMANIA is a prestigious exhibition dedicated to the most influential sculptor of the 20th century: Constantin Brancusi (1876-1957). A major name in art history, he is considered one of the pioneers of modernism.

On the occasion of this exhibition, masterpieces by Brancusi will be displayed next to artworks by his contemporaries such as Man Ray, Modigliani and Marcel Duchamp as well as works by Rodin for whom he was briefly an apprentice.

The Mougins Museum is honoured to contribute to this show with the loan of  Amedeo Modigliani's Male Caryatid, hands behind his head (MMoCA8MA, photo opposite).
